Is it because it's a Porsche?

Misfire cylinder number 3 and after pulling everything out, disassembling the entire engine the big boys at corporate level believe the DME module might be the culprit. Unbelievable waste of time.
Good luck

Thank you to all for your support and response. I thought I would quickly share what happened next.
I took our Macan to Autozone, where they performed a quick scan. It didn't say much but indicated that there was an "emission system leak." Seems like that could be a number of things. So I retightened the gas cap, drove around a bit more and order a scanner from Amazon that would allow me to reset error codes. The second scanner gave me the same error but a slightly different narrative, something like "Tank leak ..." (see attached images)
In hind sight yes, that is what the first one said also, retighten the gas cap. Recall, I did that early but the CEL didn't clear. Maybe patience isn't my thing as I need to drive it more and it would eventually clear. Anyway, I cleared the code with the second scanner and it has not reappeared. All good for now and happy motoring

Three Wheelin'
2019 S my son has it now 28,000 miles only routine service, now a 2022 S 9800 miles only the first routine service...Probably the BEST cars I have ever owned (and there have been a LOT)

22 S received 1/22/22. 9,000 miles to date.
Only issue was at 750 miles, error code about fuel high pressure at engine. Dealer concluded high pressure side of fuel pump "not connected properly at the factory"! Didn't affect driving, was still in break-in period and might have noticed low pressure at high rpms.
DIY oil changes every 5,000. No other issues to report.

16 days/1200 miles and my ‘23 S is leaking something oily. The liquid has no smell and is pretty clear. It went into the dealership yesterday and I’ll know more this week I hope. I was lucky to call my sales advisor about 2:30 yesterday - Saturday and I was out the door with a new Macan Base by 5:30.

My 22 Macan has been in the shop two times and is ready for a third. The first was a PCM reboot, the second a PCM replacement and last night the CEL came on. I've been told this seldom happens but I'm super bummed!! The dealership has been fantastic but this is getting a little tiresome.
A friend of mine has a Ferrari and claims something always needs fixed or tweaked. He loves the car and simply says "It's Italian." I really enjoy my Macan, but if my car issues are simply because "It's a Porsche," I'm not sure I have the patience.
Question is how many times in the first two years has your Macan been in the shop for something other than an oil change?

“Kinda reminds me of owning a Ducati and how guys who say if your nuts weren't scorching on a ride then "It isn't a Ducati." lol. Sorry, but I love the looks, I just don't understand that logic; probably whey I went back to BMW for my motorcycles. They're bitchin' good looking bikes though. “
For many years my main bike was also a BMW. I never thought I’d go all red but now I have 3 Ducs I ride (and one I just stare at). Zero issues with any of them (Desert Sled, Multistrada and Desert X). My Aprilia, however, is another matter.
BTW my nuts don’t scorch on any of these bikes!
