2023 Macan T to 2024 Macan GTS
I came from a 2017 Macan GTS that had been tuned (Cobb) and lowered (Cete) and loved it. Sadly I got t-boned and the car was totaled. I thought I could live with the Macan T but I couldn't. I mentioned here in various threads how the "T" was good enough in and around town and it is BUT in those times when I was getting on the highway and wanting a vehicle with some power it just falls short. Not too mention it had the 14 way seats and they were just not supportive enough. So after 6 weeks of ownership I sold it back to the dealer and ordered a 2024 GTS with every-single-option I wanted! Live and learn....

Thanks for sharing your story. Makes me feel good about my purchase. I have a Turbo PP that is overkill for where I live. The T would be overkill. I don't like to waste and sometimes I feel like the PP is wasted on me. Except of course when I get out on the canyons or do road trips. The car is just amazing and thoroughly enjoyable when pushed to its limits. I'd miss it just for that and don't plan to let it go anytime soon.

The Macan T is down on power but it handles REALLY well. Better than my previous gen Macan GTS. Around town and commuting the Macan T is fine for the most part. My wife has a 2018 Q5 with the same engine as the Macan T and it drives completely different. The Q5 has GOBS more torque off idle whereas the Macan T has to be spooled up to get anywhere quickly. I would almost gamble to say the turbos on the 2 engine are different. Audi perhaps has a smaller turbo for quick spoolup and the Porsche has a larger'ish turbo for higher rev performance? I'm sure at some point, someone will dig into them and compare.
I love the low end tq on my cobb tuned S!

I'm sure it would but there isn't a tuner that has one yet. I've contacted COBB and APR and neither are working on one. Yes there's one for the base Macan/Q5 which has the same engine BUT I have no idea if it can be used in the Macan T.
