Default Fair price for a 2021 Macon S

Hi
Buying a 2021 Macon S with 5K miles from a good friend and would like to give him a fair price
Options include heated seats/steering wheel, LCA, LED with PDLS plus, Premium package plus, 14 ways seats, power steering plus, Bose
I was looking for a 2021 configurator to price out options but cannot find

Thoughts on price?
Thoughts on extended warranty ?

Thanks
G

It really depends on multiple factors. It seems to be super basic. He bought it during the pandemic so he probably paid between 2-10k markup. MSRP of the base 21 S was 61500 and when you add the premium plus package it should have been around 66k. I think $55k from a private party without CPO would be a fair price. Any amount above, you are better off buying either a cpo with slightly more miles but also more warranty or even buy a new one. Right now in SoCal dealers are giving around 10% off MSRP for all their 23 Macans. Extended warranty with this little mileage would be pretty cheap, I would go fidelity platinum.

About $15k to $20k less than MSRP would be expected.

Why not go to Edmunds.com and plug in the details there? It will give you a range of prices... trade in, private party, dealer... etc...

If you find a 2 years old Macan S with 5k miles for below $20k below MSRP let me know, I buy it right away.

So sticker around 70K, and original owner paid 2K over sticker

Using the VIN #, and stating car in perfect condition
Edmunds 53k trade in, 56k private
KBB 59 trade, 63 private
Truer 48 trade

so a bit all over the place
Hard to really tell from looking at similar cars on line, as you dont know what they ultimately sell for
So - I am thinking 58-60K is fair for a 2 year old car

This says to me that $60 is a good deal for him, $55 would be a good deal for you, anything in between should work.

I totally agree. I think I have a pretty good feel for the market, have looked for a long time before I finally bought a brand new Macan S with 9%off MSRP. When you can agree on 56-57 and add another 4k for extended warranty, I think this would be a fair deal for both of you. Anything above 58 is too much, even with only 5k miles. Right now you can get on many markets new macan s for 10% off MSRP so new one would not be significantly more expensive. Also the new one has a better engine and more options.

I decided to look at what was on PorscheUSA as they will print out the sticker
Eight 2021 S models listed
miles average around 10-25K
Original sticker average around 75K
Average listed price for sale around 60 - 64K

So - if a CPO warranty is worth 3 K - Back to around numbers quoted above
Thanks again for helping me sort out !
