Default All Season Tires - Yokohama or Michelin or Pirelli

My 2015 Macan S is in need of new all-season tires. I currently have the Michelin Latitude Tour HP tires and have been happy with them. However, Tire Rack shows ratings for both the Yokohama Geolandar X-CV tires and Pirelli Scorpion Verde that are higher than the Michelins. I did a forum search and couldn't find any posts from anyone who has tried the Geolandar tires. I saw good and bad reviews on the Pirellis. Has anyone here tried the Geolandars and if so, what do you think of them?

I’m in the same boat as you where I need new tires.
I currently have the pirelli zero (not verde) and even with tread remaining at 5-6/32 they are horrible in the rain and honestly scary.
I was about to go down the Michelin route because the tire rack tests had better ratings than the zero (although from 2010/2012) and I didn’t see tire rack tests for the verde. I did see the Yokohama which had great reviews on tire rack (although not many) but the issue for me is they wouldn’t be N0 / Porsche spec tires which the dealer would refrain from mounting

My tires show a 2017 date code. I bought the Macan in mid-2018. So I don't know if the tires were changed by the dealer when I bought it or if it was changed up to a year prior. With that unknown, I'd estimate that there are somewhere between 37K - 45K miles on my set. I still have some tread, but one tire is at the wear bars. Plus they are 6 years old, so it's past time to replace them!

Mine are 2020 dates. Unknown miles as I recently acquired the car.
it’s the squirmy feeling in the rain that had me concerned enough to replace them even though decent tread remains

Not an "all season" tire per se but consider the ATTURO AZ850. Awesome tires for not a lot of money. Almost everyone who've purchased them love 'em.

if only these weren’t summer tires. I believe me and OP are looking for all seasons.

Not a big fan of the Pirellis that the dealer usually puts on under warranty. We just canceled our warranty for Tire/Rim Protection and now use exclusively Yokohama tires. No complaints.

Specifically, are you using the Geolandar X-CVs?

@doctj I think I'll just stay with the Michelins. They worked well for me. I am always curious to try new tires, but don't want to if I can't get good real life usage feedback. If you try the Geolanders, please let us know what you think of them. Thanks!

@Q 997.2 C4S
I’ve been on the Michelins for 2-3 weeks now and honestly I’m impressed compared to the pirellis I had. No more hydroplaning on minimal water. The car drives straight. Got an alignment done as well. I can’t be more pleased at the moment.

I'm happy to hear that! Michelins seem to always be a good tire.

I went with the Michelin Latitude Tour HP on my 2020 Base Macan, and they're great. The cornering is excellent with minimal road noise. All in, I'm very pleased after ~1,000 miles.

I have never owned a set of Pirelli's that didn't have problems. Michelins have always treated me well. Very little experience w/ Yokohamas I think I've had one set of them years ago.
