Winter wheel & tire sizing
What are some tried and true winter wheel size and offsets along with tire brands and sizes? Aftermarket suggestions over Porsche?
I have a 2024 Macon GTX coming home soon and am wondering what folks are using successfully.
Link to build:
A local Indie shop is recommending 19" wheels with 235/55-19 squared front and rear. What offset works best?
Located in North Eastern Ontario, so LOTS of snow is normal.
All suggestions welcome. Thanks!

I'm running OE size 20" RS Spyder replicas, 265's front, 295's rear with Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV. Also in Canada, it's been a great setup, but where I am we're more often cold bare/wet pave than snow covered and so I didn't want to give up performance in those conditions...they drive more closely to the summer setup (OE Latitute Sport 3's) than anything.
Deep/often snow, the 235 with 19's and going to an XIce less performance more wintery tire might be a not bad idea. Though I don't feel like I lack any traction in snow on the Alpin's compared to the Latitude XIce Xi2's on another one of our AWD SUV's.

Did this a few weeks ago from Suncoast for our '19 Macan S: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU95B18WWS.html
Great price for Porsche wheels/tires/ABS/balanced and ready to mount. Added the painted center caps as well. We have some trips to Ohio and northern Virginia this winter and I've driven on all-seasons in snow and it just is not confidence inspiring. Shipping via ground was $95 from FL to AL and arrived in a few days.
Also purchased the tote bags for a great price: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/50010019.html

I have the same 20" RS Spyder as pictured above for our 2022 GTS. They work great and look great. Bought them from Porsche and persuaded dealer to give me a pretty good 20% discount on them since we bought the car from them. I have seen some sets of OEM winter wheel/tires on Ebay at better pricing than dealer full price.

If you're looking for a set try CEO Tire in Scarborough. I ordered the same setup for my sister's new Macan GTS with PA5s and she is very happy as they look great + OEM. Best price in the GTA and their service is great.

Macan 20" OEM Winter wheel and tire set
I had a '22 Macan with 21" RS Spider design wheels.
you definitely, want to go with 20" Porsche wheels and winter tires. I got mine from tequipment and they come balanced and ready to bolt on. Winter tires on 21" rims is not great and you will need to have someone swap spring and fall for winter to summer tires. Save your tires and nice GTS rims.
Here and mine with one winter on them. For sale because I traded the Macan for a Cayenne. These are clean and balanced and ready to go. Link is here:

Squared setup also works fine, I downsized to the 19" square setup to give bigger sidewalls for the terrible northeast roads during the winter. the 19s clear the brake calipers just fine and used to be an accessory order on the configurator website (but is no longer there).

I am picking my '17 GTS up this afternoon but CPO comes with all seasons and I need winter tires where I am. Square setup cause any issues for GTS? Certainly a money saver, too.

For the novices like me out there, is a “square set up” a non staggered set up? All four tires the same size? If so, can you rotate them normally? My BMW tires were staggered as are my Macans. What is the advantage of a staggered set up? Thx
