Towing Mileage
We are getting ready for our first long tow with our '21 GTS. We will be towing roughly 3000-3500 pounds. I did a test drive with the trailer hooked up but I have no idea what the highway mileage will be.
Can anyone chime in with your experiences and which Macan and tow weight you have? Hoping to go 250 miles without filling up.
TIA

We took our Aerovault (2250 pounds) with an 1150 pound car in it on a 250 mile trip including some good hills in the Catskills.
Averaged 13.7 mpg.

Mileage will be AT LEAST half depending of course on weight being towed and roads. Towing a 7,300 pound 30 foot trailer in my V8 Touareg netted about 9mpg from about 20-22 normal driving.
My two cents: get a WDH and check tire pressures making sure you have a TPMS on the trailer as well. Have a safe trip
