Default Ordered Macan S

I ordered a Macan S with lots of options ($14k worth). Delivery is expected around end of April. Color will be Dolomite Silver with Pebble Grey full leather. Among the options is air suspension.

Question for you guys: I wash my cars myself and never take them to a car wash. What do you use to clean the roof if you can't reach all the way up there?

I stand on a little metal folding stool. Works fine for me.

Mine is a small (12 inch) plastic folding stool.

At my age I try to not get on any stools or ladders if I don't have to. I use a noodle mitt which is on a long handle.
I also saw this on Amazon but I'm not sure it's something I want to try.

+1 for folding step stool. Also setting air suspension on the lowest setting helps a bit.

Also when washing, learn how to put wipers in service position. Makes it much easier to clean the windshield and wipers/arms.

I absolutely LOVE my '23 Macan S! Congrats!

+2 folding step stool if I'm really doing a deep clean, or when it particularly dirty. The other 1/2 of the time I can just reach with the PASM in its lowest setting.

Looks great! What color? Haven't seen those wheels before, are they Porsche factory optioned or aftermarket?

Thank you! It's Volcano Gray... it's pretty dark, and has a lot of multi-colored flake. Great color, with a ton of depth.

The wheels are the OEM 20" wheel (I believe they were the stock wheels on the '23's). I love them! They look great to me, and they are easy to clean!

Now, that looks really functionable to access my top box.

I just use a step ladder - works well for me! Congrats on the car, you'll love it! I have a '23 S in Dolomite Silver over Black/Bordeaux Red.

The solution for washing the roof seems to be this car wash mitt with a curved telescoping handle:

I have a '24 Macan S on order in the same color and rims - I'm obviously biased but yours looks great! I went with Bordeaux/Black for the interior - you?

I just move the stepladder four times and reach. It works for me.
