Why are the ICE/EV threads mixed?
@Admin I don't know if I am the only one here but I think mixing the EV with the ICE in the same thread is not a good thing. These are two completely different cars with different target audience. Having both in the same thread makes the thread very chaotic. Would be good when you could create a separate EV thread. If I am the only one who thinks so, please disregard.

Agreed...they renamed the forum rather than making two. Just split them up like all the other models.

Please split them up. I'm happy to bookmark both threads to be able to follow them. Mixing them doesn't make sense.

Reason they are combined is to increase “engagement” and therefore ad revenue generation.
Engagement means users spend more time rummaging around (time spent and clicks) looking for what they want, among a pile of less than ideally organized information. Like a flea market.

I personally, have very little interest in the EV version of the Macan, and feel that it makes no sense to shoehorn it into the existing Macan subforum.
Outside of the name, the EV is a totally different technology and its respective issues of discussion do not run parallel to their ICE counterparts in the forum.
Rant over.

Agreed, particularly now with the explosion of similar threads and posts. Since EVs are appliances, it might make more sense to put all Porsches EV models in a Porsche EV forum. I'll toss out "4,800 pounds or more" as a proposed sub-forum name.

They are mixed so that Porsche, with RL's collusion, can generate clicks and eyeballs.
And stimulate a product intro that only half the audience cares about.
I propose
Remote Polluting Vehicles
Limited range and recharging infrastructure
Many more possibles.

I would also prefer this split. Porsche sells the same amount of Macans as Cayenne and the model deserves its own forum for for each generation.
Furthermore I really think the EV model is an extremely important step for the future of Porsche and the EV forum will get traction and hopefully there will be as much traffic as in the cayenne forum.

Agreed.... needs it's own. I have zero interest in the EV's. That being said you can filter out MACAN EV:

Sales in the US, for 2021-22:
Macan: 48,404
Cayenne: 38,493
EDIT: I'm for splitting it up as well.
