2016 Macan
I was looking at purchasing a 2015-2016 Macan S or Turbo. I've noticed that there are quite a few in the 20-25k range around me that all have about 100k miles. What should I be looking for while purchasing? Is 100k miles worrying for a macan?

Whatever you save on the initial purchase, I would add back that $15-20k to keep in reserves for major repairs. Transmission, transfer case and engine leaks come to mind but if you have good DIY skills and an independent specialist that can handle the larger potential issues, its less of a worry. Do not buy one if you have only a dealer to turn to for major stuff. Ensure a local shop has PIWIS and has experience with the worst case full engine out repairs or transmission swaps.
I am most concerned about the transmission. Ensure that on a 100k mile example or as low as 40-60K miles, there is a verified history of changing both the internal and external PDK clutch fluid filters at least every 40k miles, plus the PDK gearbox oil and both front and rear diff and transfer case fluid services at least once in the history.

Advice: don’t. If you can find a warranty read the fine print. Most do not cover PDK’s or DCT’s.

My 2015 S is almost to 70,000 and has not had any issues, just routine maintenance and a few mods.
Hopefully any repairs on the out of warranty cars will be cheaper than the depreciation of a newer one... my recommendation is to look at Macans with great service history, including routine PDK service.

The tech who works at the indy I go to drives a 2015 S with 150,000+ miles. He says they are great cars and sees several 100,000+ mi macans.

my .02. 2016 turbo just hit 100K - still puts smile on my face. 1- issue resolved, the timing cover leak fixed. Other than that, will drive it till something major I guess. Mostly drive in winter with snows on.
