Oh Boy
The insurance company we have been using is no longer renewing policies in Florida (Farmers)
They were fairly reasonable, but now I am getting quotes that are incredibly high..
Least expensive is Progressive, but that company seems to be difficult to deal with if you have a claim
Anyone have a policy with a company that they like?
2022 Macan S under 8000 miles a year

I'll tell you (from direct experience) to NEVER deal with Liberty Mutual. They are the absolute worst company I have ever had to deal with. Ridiculous claims process and idiotic staff. It was a nightmare.

I am using Nationwide now in Palm Beach County. I don't have any issues but haven't filed a claim. Previously I was using SafeCo and they were pretty good handling a small claim.

I’ve found Geico gives the best rates but I’m West Coast (compared farmers, State Farm, Progressive etc). No issues having them payout claims so far. Easy to deal with since everything is online. Cost is approx $80/month for a 2018 S

Don't know much about them but you might try Porsche Auto Insurance.

I'm in the Tampa area and last year switched from Geico - with whom I had been with for 13 yrs and who had been good to me in the northeast but came back to me after a year here (and no claims in that time) with a ridiculous increase. Shopped around and ended up with Allstate being the least expensive of the other major co's I solicited. They also put my two older cars under Hagerty's for coverage as it was better than what they could quote.

I’m with Geico as well and my rate has been going from from $1,500 annually to just shy of $2K on a 2018 Macan S as well. No accidents or claims. What am I doing wrong? 😝

Used to have Farmers for 40 years. They kept raising rates and reducing coverage to the point I could get a cheaper rate if I applied as a new customer from scratch. So much for customer loyalty.

Switched to State Farm. Premium is about $1500 per year here in CA (Central coast area) for the 22 GTS. Here in CA we are seeing some companies dropping out of covering homeowners (due to fire hazzard in some locals) and Newsom's punative laws and rules he is trying to impose on the industry. My State Farm agent has informed me they are no longer taking new fire insurance policies in the state of CA.

I’m in the Pacific Northwest now and 3 years ago it was $40 a month. Cali was more than double when I lived there though and I’m guessing much higher now that rates are skyrocketing everywhere.

Not sure if they will write policies all the way down to FL, but Erie Insurance is the best around here (PA). They have the best rates, but they also have rock solid claims service. I have shopped insurance several times, but always come back to Erie. I have been with them for 30 years now... AllState and State Farm should be solid choices as well, although they will be more expensive.

Not so sure about that. A couple of years ago we had a hail storm in this area. All the homes in the neighborhood had their roofs replaced except our next door neighbor. The reason? Their claim was denied by Erie Insurance!!

Ha nice. We actually had ours replaced due to a hail claim in 2018. Ours is Erie. It could honestly be that their roof was newer and didn't have damage to the extent the rest of you did.

Their roof was older than mine. Luck of the draw, I guess...
