Thanks for info, what are you asking for the unit? Do you have a picture? I don't need the cruise control part so if the unit is in good shape then that would work

    Cheers!

Thank you for the info, I will run new wiring from the radio to where the old amp is and splice into the wires from there since I want to be able to return everything to original if required.

On the new HU can I use the output wires to the 4 set of speakers (4 ch of course) and then use one of the pre-outs (probably rear) for connecting to an amp which will be connected to the sub for a little bass ?

Hello, I have seen your post about installing your new radio and was wondering how you have connected everything ? Did you bypass the factory amp or use it with your head unit ? I have tried Fisher_76_911, s suggestion to use the original amp and when I connect the Blue (antenna wire) into the white Porsche wire I get non stop popping only and if I don't the radio seems to play, but with very low power, I have to turn it very loud to hear any sound and it is very crappy sound, scratchy.
I have used the front speaker connections as suggested. Any ideas ? I have a JVC KD-SX980 for head unit.

    Hey Patrick,

I am not very good at linking old threads, but I just went to MrMerlins profile to look for the Volvo MM thread and went to status and looked at the threads he started.
It is a thread from 6/26/10.

    I hope this helps.
