I saw your post in one of the threads here on maintaining the natural leather in porsches. I followed the link in that thread to your own thread about furniture leather (and leather in general).

I'm really interested in quality of leather upon finding out the trickery and ignorance about leather quality so engrained in the industry.

I want to buy a used 997 porsche but I'm torn because it's hard to find used porsches outfitted with the natural leather option. What can you tell me about the lower leather options? Are they worth it?

My other idea was to get a used corvette and replace pieces with leather from caravaggio corvettes that use semi-aniline nappa leather.

I would love to hear your opinion on the options and leather choices in general. It's nice to see someone so informed on the issue.
