    did you run the e85 tune with only an exhaust? protomotive is saying they can run e85 with stock injectors, is that what you did?

    I originally had a GIAC tune and all my problems went away when I dumped it and went over to Protomotive. I tried really hard to get GIAC to work with me and even offered to pay to have them work on adjusting the tune for my car but they just weren't interested. Their 'off the shelf' tune simply wasn't good enough to adapt to the car and other bolt-on mods I had. My local shop recommended protomotive, and they very first run I did after switching was a 10.5. My 60 ft. times are consistently 1.5-1.6, the only issue now is the car makes so much power it's easy to spin all 4 tires. The other issue is the brake won't hold the car while brake-boosting because of how much power it makes, so I have to manually keep the rpms around 2500 to launch to avoid jumping when the brakes wouldn't hold. I'd love to get a line lock but am unsure if that's possible with our cars. I hated having to dump a $3000 tune, but it was the only way to get the car running right.

    I was searching through Rennlist attempting to find more info on those members with the tip. I found your post on launching and have had similar poor results. I had a similar 2.068 60' and 128.11 mph at the strip and have continually complained about the 2100 max rpm brake boosting with little psi boost. Letting off the brake it falls on its face then lights up when boost pressure returns and then performs nicely.
    Additionally I'm having the problem that it will not shift out of 1st gear on its own. It revs past 8k and goes into limp mode. Have you had any similar limp mode experiences? My tip has been tuned by GIAC and strengthened by Rennline.
