Interesting...actually it depends on how easy it is for them to get down your street. I think I used Intercity twice once they came down my street and the other time I met them at a mall parking lot.

Their rigs are no doubt big.

I recently shipped and received cars...both time did it at a local mall parking lot as it just was easier.

One advantage of doing it away from your house is it gives you an opportunity to drive it immediately. Good luck with your car.

Hi SWESNA - just reading one of your older posts about shipping a car to NJ sing Intercity. How did they work out for you? I am looking to get a 991 GTS Cab shipped form Chicago to NJ. My question is about the size of the rigs they use and where to unload - probably too large for local residential areas. Did you meet them somewhere?
