Tires:

MPSC: 265/30R19 and 315/25R20
Hoosier R6/A6: 285/30R18 and 345/35R18
Slicks: Michelin 27/65R18 and 31/71R18 (same rear as the 997 RSR)

Front wheels: anything between 9.5" and 11" on stock offsets:
Rear wheels: 13" on stock offset

Other than straight pipes, LW battery and magnesium wheels (Manthey Racing) not much else to lose weight, still on the heavy side as a car.

Transmission is the weakest link. Most of the cars I found during my search had a transmission replaced. It's a $80k part. Not enough knowledge yet to rebuild them , so it's a brand new one in case of failure.

I got tired of looking for a clean CGT, bought a '09 Scuderia, and will keep looking for the right CGT.

I'm building a Boxster Spec Racer Coupe 3.8 as a fun track car. Need to find wrecked 996TT to let Betim and Joey do their magic with my Boxster Coupe.

I have a great lead on a very good 997 Cup car. Friends of mine. You may even get a chance to compete in the race series with them.

I was taught 10/2 is ideal, and got used to that. 9/3 is what we should use, but the street steering wheel is not comfortable at 9/3.

It's funny that I have a race steering wheel in the Boxster BSR, and I still set my hands at 10/2.

hey rad, I was wondering why you hold your hands at 11/1 or 10/2 instead of lower like 9/3 on the steering wheel?
