Hi, I have a 1988 928 S4 and am thinking seriously about following you into the world Panamera 18" wheels. I found a post from you where you said that people give them away on eBay, and shockingly they still do! Did you end up using spacers or roll the fenders? Any other modifications needed? How's the ride and how well does it track? Very curious! - Steve
Thanks again for the help. I think I'll go with a 10" rear and forget the panamera rims unless they have a 10" option. The 928 really need more than a 9" rear wheel
those rims will work but the tires not so much they are too tall, you may want to install a bolot on spacer for the rear wheels to kick them out to the fenders
NOTE with the 9 in rear rim you will also be limited on rear tire width IIRC 265 will be about it
Hi More important what tires do you plan on using?
the rim sizes you have picked out will for the fronts have to be custom made as i am not aware of any rims that are that size
There may be a rim thats coming to market the new 18 in Phone dials that one of our posters is working on.
To answer your question the rim sizes sound good to me the fronts may be able to be less ET IOW a 60ET since your going wider up front but again it depends on the tire you are choosing
Nice carpet in the photos you posted. I have the same and I can't believe they put such luxurious white carpet in there. I can't wipe my feet enough every time I climb in. You should post some photos of the outside of your car now!
