Already replied, but I can give you a tip or two. After you remove the factory spoiler, lower the lifting mechanism to the down position. Then, disconnect the power lead to the lift motor. If you don't, and you get the car above 75 mph after install and before dealer reprogramming, the lift motor will engage and push the wing up. (Don't ask how I know)

Also, the third brake light in the spoiler should be hooked up to the original 3rd light in the engine cover, not the one under the factory spoiler.

I noticed your 991 has the techart spoiler in your avatar. I am interested in installing one but was hoping you could help me with a few questions. I have a turbo S and it has the rear spoiler lift. Do you know if I can install the same spoiler you have and maybe recode my DME to not register the rear spoiler? Hopefully, by doing so, I don't get a rear spoiler fault. Thanks for any advice you may have.
