I saw ehrin at Taupo here the other day - nice chap. Spoke to him when buying my car originally when he worked at Gilltraps. Did the "handover" for me after my dead battery did it's normal tricks!
Giltraps have a bad name with the RSG in particular due to several stuffups with various of us, mine probably being the biggest stuffup that they did to any of our members.


I would really hope that TPC already know the stock ranges of the PASM shocks as their boxes are already controlling this as the main function!!


One thing that everyone who has one of these boxes or wants to get one should know is what the 2 standard modes on the PASM box actually is and how it compares with the DSC. TPC has been reluctant to disseminate this knowledge, if they even have it.


Yes the Gforce thresholds are the thing no-one can understand, and how the brake and acceleration tables go ontop of the base G tables to get the answer out the other end that is sent to the shock.

I look forward to meeting with you. I am very curious to get your thoughts on the potential size of the Kiwi market for this product and also the possibility of taking it across the ditch. Who knows, maybe even form a partnership if it makes sense. My main goal is to get this technology out in front of as many P-Car owners and let the product sell itself. Working @ Giltrap will have some benefits too. I am also very good friends with Ehrin @ Conties. We lived together and attended the Porsche training apprenticeship program in Atlanta GA, back in 2003. I have had some good chats with him about getting the product out there as well.

I am getting up to speed with the software right now. The GForce table is pretty straight forward with the exception of the GForce threshold inputs. I am still a little confused as to what does what. I'm sure it is quite simple, just need someone to explain it properly. I have been exchanging emails with Mike today, so hopefully get it all sorted soon.

The shock calibration table will be fun to play with too. Do you know the High (full soft) and Low (full stiff) limits of the OEM PASM dampers? It would be very interesting to see what the factory was setting them to just as a reference. For example, "Normal" mode = X amount of milli amps applied front and rear. It would also be a great way to illustrate the beauty of the system , instead of only having option "A" or option "B", with the DSC you can have option A and B with everything in between on demand.

My name is Jeff Delio, I moved to NZ in April. Working at Giltrap Porsche currently. I worked for K-PAX racing based out of Denver prior to moving to NZ. I have been working hard to grow the motorsports side of the business at Giltrap and making good progress. I convinced them to purchase wireless scale pads to enable me to do high quality alignments / corner balancing. Making some good contact with PCNZ and RSG members. Hopefully get out and talk with some Cup car owners soon too.

I also have been working with TPC to become the NZ dealer for the DSC product line. I have a 9X7.1 and 9X7.2 control unit to carry out Demos with and generate some interest and sales. Would love to chat with you and possibly help you dial in your car, could be a lot of fun. Look forward to growing the DSC brand here in NZ and AUS as well. Huge potential if the product is marketed properly.

Hi,

I saw an older topic in which you mentioned trouble fitting Zunsport grilles to your Aerokit. I have recently bought the Zunsport grilles and have exactly the same problem: the grilles are simply to big. Can you perhaps let me know if you have been able to solve this? Did you also have this problem with the center grill or only the side ones?
