Hi Derek. I hope you don’t mind for pm-ing you. I recently bought 17 Targa 4S, and immediately noticed that I have 2 rattles. While browsing forum and google, I found your post with my 2 rattles. While reading I couldn’t figure out how to resolve it.
First one are metallic rattle on right passanger side, I think somewhere around seat but not sure. It’s fast vibrating rattle, like coke lid snapped and rattle inside can very fast.
The other is plastic trim/bar behind seats. I have seen that it need to be taken off and padded on connectors. I have located button on right driver side under plastic bar/trim but after pressing it will not release. Button is very hard to press, and I don’t have feel that it is doing something. It feels like just pressing plastic hard, I’m afraid to break something..

can you please help me ? I would really appreciate it.

Im Puridet from Thailand, just received Targa 4S and i discover 2 rattle in my car
1.Rubbery creak fro targa lid, i tried adjusting round rubber trim at the rear of the lid and the sound is still there, do u lubricate the rubber trim?
2.Plasticly rattle from plastic trim across (behind rear seats)

No, I don't have a sweet yellow Targa, but I have thought about getting those plates. I guess not. lol
