    Hi Colin,

My name is Saul and I own 1988 Porsche 928 S4 with manual trans. I am currently embarking on the clutch job.

I intend to replace the clutch release bearing. The original (928 116 085 05) has been superseded by GTS bearing (928 116 085 08) which then also requires GTS release arm and GTS tube. I understand you have successfully adopted the new GTS bearing into the old S4 release arm. Do you have any write up of the procedure?

    kind regards,
    Saul

Hi Collin..I have a manual 85 928s that has a failed center spring. How can I get my mechanic in touch with you to purchase one of your fabricated replacements?

    Hey Colin,

Just in the process of trying to bring a 928 MY81 back to life! The engine bay harness is toast multiple splices from previous owners, I have seen online complete harnesses but they are at least 1k cdn dollars. I'm in Winnipeg and have completely redone all the electronics on my Ferrari Testarossa, all new connectors pins, soldered connectors etc. How hard is it to make an engine harness for these cars? Any suggestions are appreciative.

    Cheers,

    Jeff

Hi, I am interested in some major engine work for my 1982 928s. I live in Anacortes WA and have the car mostly stripped inside. I will be going overseas in October for 5 months so was trying to find a good and honest mechanic to do an engine rebuild/refresh or overhaul depending on the cost. I wanted to discuss my options with you if you have the time or alternatively if you have a good mechanic that might be semi-close to my area that information would be greatly appreciated. Kevin

Hi, I got your name from Mr Ott. He said you might have or make X pipes to bypass the catalytic converters. I also need a MAF and it looks like the Cats are probably shot. The car is a 928 1986.5. I live just east of Montreal. Thanks. Bruno Castonguay abcaston@videotron.ca

Yeah. Pretty lousy response selling the car whole
I will most likely keep the transaxle unless someone offers me a realistic price
Also will keep the BBS wheels. That's about all I want from the car
I still have my 79 and probably will for eternity
I have a room full of good spares from early cars also
I'd appreciate if you would refer anybody looking for stuff
    Thanks. Darrin

    Hi Colin,
I was given your name by Jon Holdsworth in Australia. I am in the UK and have just purchased a 1988 928 S4 SE. The previous owner destroyed the engine and put in a normal 928S4 engine. I am now looking to get the car back to SE spec, and believe that you had the GT cams made a few years ago. Do you have any left that I could purchase?
    Kind regards,
    Klaus

    Hi,
Looking to get torque tube rebuilt on '87 928 auto. I live in Delta, so not too far from you. Are you able to help on this?

    Thanks,

    James
