Yes, a bank transfer would be acceptable to me. I didn't have a number in mind as far as the deposit, what do you think is fair? $500?

My appointment for the air sensor is at a little independent shop in town, not at the Porsche dealer. The guy who runs the shop (Chris) worked at a Porsche dealer in town for a long time before going out on his own. I would imagine he could do a PPI, but I will contact him on Monday (they are closed today) to ask. Otherwise, the other two places I would recommend for a PPI are the dealer (Porsche St. Louis) or Reid Vann, which is another independent shop that specializes in air cooled vehicles. I am happy to drop the car at either of those two next week, if you would prefer or if Chris for some reason won't do the PPI.

How much of a deposit would hold the car to have a PPI done? Could you have the car taken to porsche for a PPI. Id pay them with a c/c directly.

How are you expecting funds.. via bank transfer.
I live overseas in Dubai and would expect no issues but things like paypal become a little hard to deal with.

Interested in pursuing this further as 1995, blue and low miles is awesome.
I think the asking price is fair value. Has a PPI ben undertaken? Are there any outstanding issues with the car? have you an another form of contact?
