Thank you for the info, I will run new wiring from the radio to where the old amp is and splice into the wires from there since I want to be able to return everything to original if required.

On the new HU can I use the output wires to the 4 set of speakers (4 ch of course) and then use one of the pre-outs (probably rear) for connecting to an amp which will be connected to the sub for a little bass ?

New head units don't work with the old factory amps
I have to look back, but someone from a stereo repair shop explained why to me.
You don't need the amp anyway.
The new units are powerful enough.
I ran the wires from the back of the stereo to the amp area, there you can connect to all the speakers.

I will check the shipping thursday morning since I have off that day and I will get back to you with how much it will cost.

Je ne crois pas que tu peux le ré-ouvrir. Tu peux en partir un nouveau par contre.

Pour ce qui est des rides, je n'en fais pas beaucoup, mais je vais t'envoyer l'info du club Rennsport qui organise des rides içi à Ottawa/Gatineau.
De mon côté, j'aime bien aller une fois par année à Sterling, Va (US) pour un meet là-bas. Ça fait deux année que j'y vais.
Super belle gang et beaucoup de 928. Environs 75 l'an passé. C'est près de Washington et toujours à la fin septembre. Les 26, 27 et 28 septembre cette année.

On aura sûrement la chance de se voir l'été prochain.
