Nice car, I have a 1989 951. I was wondering as to where you obtained the front nose piece with the turbo vent. I like the look.

    Elliott,
Just a note to let you know that I recieved the airbox and it looks great. Thanks again. Also I saw on the Cayman poll that you would rather have a 993 or 964 for your next track car. It sounds like you are a true porsche nut. You may be interested in my 914-6 project that I am currently building with a 993 motor in it. Maybe? Maybe not?

sorry I haven't sent pics yet. I am still waiting for it to be detailed. My detailer is a guy I trade labor with and he's been backed up. He's also going to tint the door windows as I had the rears/hatch done when the car was apart. Once again sorry for the delay--I shouldn't have posted until my ducks were in a row. I hope to have my sh*t together next week.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I am selling the wheels and going with a different set. All of the mods make it to big of a problem just for a set of wheels.
    Thank you for the help.

Hey Elliott. Just read your pm. Um..27mm or slightly over an inch is a lot to widen a wheel well or fender lip. It can of course be done but please understand that this will stretch the metal a lot and body work and painting will have to be done. $$$ I'm thinking that there is not enough metal to just fold back to give you enough room and it would be hard to do without distorting the metal resulting in bodywork, paint, blending paint into the whole quarter panel. Etc. But hey, that's just my office desk opinion. I'm sure if you asked the guys in the forum, someone has dealt with the same problem.
