    Hello,

I would love to hear about your experience and opinions with the your elgin camhafts. Are you using the hydraulic style rockers or did you convert the mechanical rockers? 114 lobe center is recommended for nicer idle, correct?

This winter I might be diving into the cylinder heads for some valvetain upgrades and want to make a good cam choice that works well on the street but at the same time feels and pulls stronger to redline.

Over a year now I've been getting used to the car with the short ratio transmission and its been amazing. Being that you have I think nearly the exact same gear ratios I want to know if you think the Elgin cams give the power band the extra bit of pull needed or wanted. With my stock cams I feel like the car is now begging for more topend acceleration since the regear. Now that the engine feels more like a v8 down low I want the pull from 5,000rpm up to compliment it.

Thanks for your input and time. Have a great night!

    Sander
