Thanks for the message, it is reassuring. I am buying the car as I feel any shortcomings can be fixed in short order. Even with the extra money that needs to be put into it I feel it is a good deal and not one I could find anywhere else. Hopefully this is the first of two, with the next one being something more along the lines of your Avatar picture. Those 6-speed coupes are sexy, love them.

These cars bullet proof....if you even think you want the car...Buy the car...then have the mechanic SHOW you the brake lines....if they leak or appear moist with HYD fluid...then have stainless steel lines put on....if they do not leak...then do not worry about it for now..or anything else.

I over-serviced my oil once (not badly mind you)...and drove it anyways....the car burns oil naturally. If the car has oil in it (and it holds 9 quarts), it will be fine. Just don't get in and drive it like you stole it!!! If u r freaked out about it...drain n refill 2 proper levels, don't worry about filters now

Find a non-dealer PORSCHE mech n area where car is. Find them on ur own...or go through PCA. They are a GREAT resource...call them and tell them where the car is and they will put you in touch with the local PCA group...google them n u will b fine.

    Mechs work on cars...car says porsche...they $$$ always....email w??s
