Hey Mike! Would you mind sending me the link to your front bumper removal DIY post please? I'm about to replace my 997.1's stock front bumper for the aerokit and I would appreciate all the help and pointers I can find! Thanks in advance!!

Mike - Just a quick thanks for the front bumper removal DIY album...looking at the photos reminded me I have an exhaust spring tool for the main bumper clips, which saved me searching for a wire coat hanger to pull apart! - Alex

Rich, sorry i just your msg. Im assuming you already solved your airbag/seat wt sensor. Its been a long time since I did that DIY & im now sure what model year os your 911, but my 02 back then didnt have any lights at all after install. If urs is getting it my suggestion is the Porsche Computer at the dealership can reset ur system to tell it that you have GT3 seat install and will ignore the seat sensor.

I read and followed your install instructions on the GT3 seats into a 997. Very, very helpful. Ive got a set that Im putting in now. My 997 seats were the sports seats with lots of extra hardware but the instructions were fairly similar. Ive kept the key away from the car. I will attach the seat belts to the correct connection . My one question is - what about the airbag sensor in the passengers seat that senses weight and turns the bag on? Did you ever deal with that?
