Hi let me introduce myself,my name is Nando and this is my first post. I have a 1980 porsche 928 euro.
This is my first porsche After a timing belt,w pump,wires etc.
Start the car, it runs good
Btw my alternator was not charging.
From this point,I am not sure what happened
I check the 14 pin plug and clean it, also got all the grounds clean
Now when I put the alternator back on is shorting out, I can connect the wires to it but if I installed and get ground it short out,
Also if I connect the two big power wires together the head lights turn on ?
This two wires go to the alternator, one from the starter and one from the batt contact post. right side of the engine
I can hear the headlight relay click when I plug the battery,
Now the car won't start,have no dash lights and the wipers turn on with the ignition on,
Sorry if I make this confusing my English is not very good I apologize ,
I order some wire diagrams from roger ,but I really don't know where to start.
