    Hey Imre...happy driving season

So every once in a while I come across a customer wanting to unload one of there cars. The 928 8 yrs ago a 996 5yrs ago and now a 05 boxter. Not really my first choice of Pcar but they actually remind me of the 914 I had as a kid. Plus its black.

The guy ready to unload it ..Ive done some research. Any red flags on Boxters in your opinion.
I do remember you talking about a BoxterS you really liked.

    Thanks Bro

Merry Christmas to you and Tom too. I'm still working away at Denny's Japanese 928 but it will be done soon. Then I can restart my 996 engine project however, if anything pops up that you need fixed, let me know and I will see what I can do.

I think the RMB is hte same price, or close, at the usuall 928 vendors. Try 928 International, 928 Specialist or Roger at 928Rus. If Roger has it, send him an email through his website, I would buy it from him. His website is still fairly primitive but he has excellent service. Bought most of the parts for your car from him.

Next week I'll swing by your shop and fix the climate control relay so you can have AC.

Mark, that's an H-pipe not an X. Notice the shape? It looks like an H. I have the same one on my car but mine is now exempt. Yes, the rolling 20 years was stopped by MTO several years ago and that sucks. They do sell proper X-pipes from the usual 928 vendors but I have no idea of the price. Hoever, they offer them with high flow catalytic converts that will pass the emission test. The ones that are without it will probalby not pass the tesst, it will fail the visual inspection if they notice it it, that's for sure. Either case, the horpewoer gains vs. cost are not that great on and X-pipe and even less on an H-pipe. What I think you should look into is an RMB (Rear Muffler Bypass). THese things make the 928 sound like a real V8, horsepower gains are are between 0-5hp but the sound alone is make it worth it and they are less expensive than an X or H. You can install it yourself in the shop with a set of wrenches too.
