I hope everything is well and I am wishing you also a good start into 2016.

I have the 7x17 & 8x17 setup for 2 reasons:

1. the 7x17 & 8x17 are according to Fuchs & German TÜV (Katsastus)
the only set up for narrow bodied 964 - only wide bodied 964 (Turbo & WTL) can apply 9x17 at the rear without issues
The 18" wheels were not an option as a Porsche bulletin stated only Turbos & WTL were clear with 18"

2. I found this new set of wheels on local classified ads for a good price
I previously had an early 911 with Fuchs & loved the classic look of the car
but the new Fuchs are different in detail which I did not like - I modified the black paint and achieved a more original look.

My impression of the wheels are very positive as you can feel the lighter
unsprung weight compared to the Cup wheels.

Anyway, I am about to get a set of these wheels, but am struggling a little in which widths I should get. I will go for the 7x17 at the front, but what about the rear? 8x17 or 9x17? Most of the 964 pics I have seen appear to be 9x17s at the rear - with only the two pics I linked to showing a car with 8x17s at the rear.

But to make the long story short, I think you mentioned that you have 7x17 at the front and 8x17 at the rear? Would you be able to share your thoughts and possible a couple of pictures of your car with these wheels on?
