Hey, this is Poppydaddy (Neil). I see from some of your post we battled some of the same problems. All of the problems you had with your AC, from what I read are typical. I used R-12 back in mine and it was like magic...all of the high pressure problems went away and it cools like an ice box with the stock fan. Anything I've ever retrofitted with 134 has had similar problems. On my truck I added a second condenser (I pull a camper) in front of the original and it worked perfectly. R-134 does not cool as well as R-12. You see the biggest difference at idle or low speed, even in new cars.

Feel free to email my Gmail. I don't monitor this as much as I used to.

That sucks that a botched install caused that.

After digging deeper it was the TT rear bearing

this was installed by 928 motorsports. They smashed the seal in..so it made it 1500 miles before it failed. Previous owner paid for it...I get to fix it. Good news is I can clean and repair everything. Roger said the brake wire/sensors are NLA..so I’m wrapping them in Tech Flex...upgrading brake lines, etc....

I'm replacing the TOB for a belt and suspenders. The6 also installed the short shaft dry...supposed to have high pressure grease. So I’m just as well to have gone through it all.

I've got my 86.5 TT dropped I thought I had a TT bearing issue, I don't think it's an issue, and I'm going to inspect the TOB/Clutch tonight. Listen to this and give me your thoughts. This is a Corvette swap from 928 Motorsports.

Dundertaker...we talk on YouTube quite a bit (reminder)
