    Jeff,
I really like your setup of the TDI and 25FB Aistream. I'm currently towing a 23FB Airstream with a 2006 Toureg V8 with steel suspension. I intend to buy a new or nearly new TDI. Assuming your TDI has the air suspension (?), can you give me some details on the hitch setup e.g do you use a weight distribution hitch? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Rick

On my first 2005 Cayenne - you needed to use the voltage from the brake switch to tell the brake controller that you were on the brakes - there is a signal that VW/Porsche sends via the brake wires that messes up the more advanced brake controllers.

In 2006 they moved this switch to the other side of the firewall - so now you use a realy that when activated sends 12 volts to the brake controller to let it know you are on the brakes but keeps that "German Brake Wire Junk" out of the brake controller so it doesn't get all messed up.

LED lights now work FINE - I was one of the original "!!!!!!!!" Rennlist folks.... ;-)

Hi, I have a 08 Cayenne S and want to install the P3; I will follow the shopping list and instructions. A couple questions . . . is the purpose of the relay to take the variable voltage from auto brake wire, and turn on "pure" 12 volt power on the controller brake feed? Second, I have seen some comments about LED lights not working right. My trailer has LED lights; will this be a problem ????? Thanks gregg@mschivs.net
