After having a disaster with EBC YS, I am now installing Pagid RS Yellows 2474. I noticed that leaving the dampening shims, there is no room between the pad and rotor surface. I guess I will need to remove the shim plate. Any comments there?

I have bought a used set of 350 mm Girodisc rotors from a 996 turbo. I will fit these to my GT3. I Know there is a small difference in hat offset GT3 vs Turbo on the front. But how much exactly the difference is? I"ll have a small spacer made inside the hat. Someone told me the proper thickness for this is 1,5 mm. Could you please confirm if this is right?

Alternatively, how much are just the front hats for GT3?
