Hi. I saw the photo of the aluminum Heigo cage in your white rs. I am thinking of ordering it for my 71S due the weight savings and ability to get a door bar. Do you have more photos of the installation and what it looks like in the rear? In the Heigo website it looks sectional and bumpy?

    Hello,
I'm so interested in a 996tt engine in the 964. I do wonder how much $$$ and work it will need to accomplish the swap. I'd appreciate your insight and leads. I probably should mention I have the mechanical ability of a 4 year old and will need a shop to do the swap for me.
    Thank you Sir,

    Seyhan

    Hi LA964RS,

I was researching for 964 automatic conversion to manual and several people point out to you. Since this is special and unknown project to me I would like to send you email regarding some question. Would you mind to pint me in right direction?

    Best Regards
    David

Some time ago you posted that you knew one of the former owners of my '79 930 - # 1200. If you are still in touch with him could you ask him if he still has any of the original paperwork, or more importantly the plaque that came with the car documenting it as one of the last 50 cars?

    Thanks,
    Dave Rutter

    Hello LA964RS

    I am builging a turbo on my 914 engine. I read i a tread the following :

I built a big type IV engine many years ago with the 104mm pistons and 10.5:1 compression. Couldn't keep the heads on so welded up the last fin like you did. Made the engine run hotter and still didn't work. Ended up having to modify the heads & case to run a 5th head stud...that fixed the problem

Do u have any pictures of this

    Thank you Wim

From an old post where you mentioned your aluminum reflector delete panel:

The Ruf delete piece is a replacement for the rear reflector. It is NLA. I did mine in aluminum and no I don't have any reverse lights and don't care.....

Do you have the dimensions or any artifacts (i.e. templates) that you can share and help someone not have to re-invent the wheel? Just taking a few measurements of my stock reflector, I don't believe it's a simple rectangle. I'm about to have a local hotrod shop do mine.

    Hi,

My tail pipes are spitting flames - I was wondering if you could kindly pass on some details regarding your exhaust bumper protection shields?

    Kind regards,

Hi, I'm a Brit from London living up the road from you in Santa Barbara. Your car looks stunning I have a GP white 64 C2. Thinking of carrying out a similar project. Would love to get a look at the PDF you mentioned of the article on your car.
