Miami: Ouch! I am far enough out of the loop that I cannot make a recommendation. My best suggestion is to contact the president of the Fresno chapter of Porsche Club of America and ask for that info, perhaps even talk with their technical chairman. Good luck!

    Dear Peter

What a wonderful PPI checklist you have!

Sir, I was wondering if you might know of someone who could do a worthy PPI on a 15, GT at the Porsche dealer in Fresno?

    Thank for your time!

    Hi Pete,
I'm looking for a good or rebuildable 915/44 (I think this is the correct unit) non-LSD 5 speed trans for my '76 Carrera3.0 project. Another Rennlister suggested I drop you a note. Any leads appreciated!
Enjoyed your book very much, btw...

    Hi Pete,
I was wondering if you could help, I posted the enclosed question on the board. It seemed to get
a lot of looks but no reply's. If you don't know no worries and sorry to bother ! oh, thanks in advance.... Pete D.

    I've got a 83 911 SC 3.0. I was wondering
if anyone has replaced the "air valve" on this model. This specific "air valve" is not
to be confused with the "auxiliary air regulator" sometimes known
as the "aux. air valve". It's a big disc with two connections on the back side. I've bought one and been able been able to find
it but have no clue how to get to it. It appears to sit behind the air box /
fuel distributor. My question is, is there any way that i'm missing something that dosen't requiring
taking the air box / fuel distributor off. I enjoy working on the car but
I don't want to get too far over my head.
    Thanks,
    Pete

    Hi Peter;
I'm wondering if you would talk to me on the phone or correspond via email regarding my pondering of joining the Porsche family via a 914. I'm in the San Fernando Valley. My email is drcarter@compliancemed.com. Thanks so much.

Pete, I have my car up at Paterek's shop getting a new door on my SC replaced from a towing accident. John searched everywhere but cant find the paint code sticker. The color has to be either 936 or 956 according to him but we can't verify. I called the dealled nad he pulled the VIN. The color code came up U3V9....any suggestions on finding the correct code? Thank you Mark
