Time for me to find a way to deal with a whole new world of computer controlled hardware. I'm not against learning new tricks, where would we all be without change? If clearing these malfunctions were only as simple as restarting the engine. Seems I require a new tool in my maintenance arsenal. I'd prefer to invest in one that serves the family well, but does not break the bank. There is the PIWIS2 for something around $3k and the Durametric cable and software you mentioned for a few hundred. Obviously one is overkill. As we are MAC users rather than a PC based family, I suppose I'll have to move back into a Windows environment one day, but I doth protest. Thanks for the recommendations. Handling a vehicle with a higher center of gravity is no simple task. Pure magic this PMS, how sweet it is. I suppose the mapping for the cruse control is blended in there somewhere.

    Hello ,
Thanks for the reply . I could use the people that you have suggested. We returned to the UK from our summer holiday in Ontario last weekend. By coincidence we are lucky enough to have a cottage on an island near Port Loring. My holiday is usually filled with building work ,maintenance and drinking as much beer as possible from the LCBO.
    Best regards,
    Chris Buckenham
