Parts wanted for a charity based 944 LeMons race car. All donations are tax deductible at full retail value from a registered NON profit 301C entity. Will pay for shipping. Could use a AC delete bracket.

The Carolina Youth Development Center has just begun building a 944 race car for the 24 Hours of LeMons car to compete in an upcoming event at CMP in September. This effort is in the need of some parts to complete the project.

Founded in 1790, Carolina Youth Development Center is an important part of Charleston’s historic and cultural heritage, a direct descendant of the Charleston Orphan House, America’s first publicly-funded orphanage. Today, CYDC provides programs reaching over 1,200 children and youth locally each year. We care for young people who are victims of physical and sexual abuse, neglect and abandonment, as well as providing resources and support to area families at risk of having their children removed from their home. http://cydc.org/

    Dan, the Man,
How cool and thanks for writing! Methinks we were heading over to Logan, OH for a distant relative's funeral that day - it was a great day for an autumn drive. I gave a ride to my nephew in law in Hocking Hills State Park, which was a thrill a minute. Hope to see you at another 'Fest or on the road again!

I'm on 71 N, heading out of Cincy Saturday about noon thirty. I'm driving my Land Cruiser (still) with a Lexus RX300 on the trailer and my father in the passenger seat. His tranny expired returning from a trip down south, and he got stranded Friday eve in Covington. We were having a great father/son chat, and I see a white 997 derivative coming up on the left. Dad is an old Porsche guy, so we call them all when we see them. As yours went past, I say the custom artwork and the VG plate, and I said, "holy **** Dad,that's Vinny!" Out of 12 million of us OHIOans, you and I shared a patch of 71 for a minute. My efforts to catch up to you were futile as the Cruiser was already about a grand over gross. I told Dad some of the tales about your father/son 944festing, and we went full circle. I'll have to settle for a renny wave, but if you ever pass a green land cruiser towing in OH, you better check!! Small world!!
