Hi, thanks for the message. I found a 911 in Bloomington, Minnesota, and would love to have someone go take a peek at it for me... not sure how far that is from you?

    Carey,
Yes, I have a Flat 6 Innovations build. Built by Jake in 08-09. I have 2 and a half track seasons on it. About 3k miles so far. The 3.8 build has made a significant difference, but along with that my engine is a X51 and the ECU has been massaged by Protomotive and the heads were flowed by one of Jakes buddies that does drag race heads. Pre rebuild I have dyno sheets at 318 RWHP and after we were over 340. Most importantly, the engine gets up on variocam plus at about 3200 and the HP and TQ keep rising all the way to redline currently set at 7500. Its a dedicated track car and the empty weight is around 2700 so that helps some. At our home track, Brainerd International I've hit 154 before slowing for turn 1. Can't say enough good stuff about LN Engineering and Flat 6 Innovations. We built the motor for relability instead of grenade like power. I would be sure to follow Jakes recommendations, no one has more experience with these than him and his staff.

Hello, I read that you you completed a 3.8 upgrade. I'm beginning the same upgrade as I had a valve seat destroy a cylinder. What are your impressions of the increased displacement? I assume he motor revs quicker due to the lightweight pistons. Please if you could give me your review I would greatly appreciate it. I'm sending my case halves out on Monday.. Cheers, Carey
