    Gregg....What was the outcome? I too have fault code P1486. Change filter? Change cannister? Change gas cap? I have code P1486 ...what did you do that cleared the check engine light for good?

    Storage_no help_I have one of my own so out of touch.
    Drives_there was a last one mid-Oct_there's a food gathering at Delaneys on the 12th of Nov_see the Clubs site_calender & most recent MachSchnel there.

    If you're PCA you can hook up with Milw or Chic Reg for stuff too_I do.
    BTW_always had winter fitments w/tires for my cars_winter driving Pcars is a hoot.
    Hassle_I'll throw winters on the wife's AMG tonight down at the garage_1/2 hour.
    This weekend I'll put top on Cab & winter fits_less than hour.
    I have a set of 996/7 winter fitments w/tires for sale.
    Maintenance_for warr & some charge I go Zim. 993 went to Lee's_he's great. Use to use KMM race & street side for mods n track related but this year Doug out at Accumoto did all my work.

    Hey Gregg, I see that you are from Madison and a long time rennlister. Loved looking up the pics of cars on drivingfanatic.com. Some really sweet rides. I am a new 996 Targa Mk2 owner and was looking for some advice.

    How active is PCA Central Wisconsin? Any drives planned in the near future to meet the other folks? Where do you take your car for service and maintenance? Is there a good reputed individual mechanic in the area?

    Lastly, I would love to drive my car year around but am planning on garaging it from December through March since I don't want to deal with putting on winter tires, wheels, etc etc. My wife wants to park her daily driver inside in the winter (Don't blame her) Any good winter storage garages you recommend in Madison?
