Tails, I am having a slipping problem with the A28/04 transmission in my '85 S4 and am just starting some research reading on the subject. One of the good threads on this is yours:

Trouble is that two .pdf downloads of yours in that thread (...Piston Failure March 20051.pdf & 20052b.pdf) have viruses in them, which try and activate when I download those files. I sent a msg a couple of weeks ago to the Webmaster with no reply. I'd appreciate it if you would send clean versions of those two .pdfs to me at 'will at wavecable dot com'. I'd like to deal with my tranny problem after I learn more about it by reading good materials like yours. The other three .pdfs in that thread are fine.
