Great news Frank. I completed the Rack swap tonight and all is good. I even have power steering now. I also replaced the bushings with Roger's Delrin product. Front end is way tighter now.

    Thanks for the quality job!

Hey Larry, That is great. I have a great core that was just leaking a few drops from the passengers side. I will call Roger tomorrow and get a price for the kit. My email is fbarnhill@yahoo.com and Stephen knows my phone number if you want to call.

Hi Frank- I was up at Ray’s this week helping out with his 951 install and he said that you were embarking on a Rack Build effort. I’d be happy to be your first customer/victim. nc_growler and I go way back and I understand you are quite capable so please consider my request for a rack build an “in-family” test.

    Cheers,
    Larry

Yep, just got back from a fun little test drive. I re-routed the vac lines, adjusted the bowden cable, added Porken's q rings and the damn car is just awsome. You MUST come drive it. Not olny have I rebuilt the engine but much of the suspension. At least the parts it needed, ball joints, rack etc and got a perfect alignment. Glad to hear about school. We are having fun fighting life down here but it looks like we will pull through it ok.

I think someone in NY offered to loan the guy the tool. I didn't realize that I never wrote another word in that thread... Bad manners but after that fire, I was a little stunned. Man it is just awsome to have a shark again on the road and running well.

Lookiing forward to seeing you guys again,

Hi Frank. I'm down to 1 928 again the 1987. Sold the 78 and the 81. I don't need the seats anymore.
I could never get any interest in the group up here for the sir tools bearing puller. I may have to end up getting one myself. Just finished up with school and I have lots of catching up to do.
Hope you are OK. read in the forum where you have our engine complete. Sorry I missed out on that. Would love to have helped.

Sorry, I have been busy with school out of state. I am back in state and the wheels on the Euro are 16" and look really good actually member bronto wanted to buy them but didn't have space to take them. I also have some other tele 16" wheels that are chromed. Let me know what you think is a fair price. I can post some pics also if you like tomorrow.
