I installed also a aftermarket Valve exhaust on my 2005 997 Carrera S and found your version of PSE Switch.
Can you also send me some pictures how you did this, I do not see how to place the micro switch on the electronic circuit.
Your achievement is really fantastic.

I bought another panel and modified it to accept the Porsche PSE logo button. I place a miniature tactile switch behind it which I connected to a relay latch circuit I built that was hidden in the console. I then wired the relay latch output to the PSE solenoid so it would change states (quiet or loud). It was a rather difficult job doing all this so it would appear and function as if OEM. I got some pictures I can send you if you provide your email address. Mind you it was years ago that I did this modification so it's not real clear in my mind and the car was sold over a year ago so I can't go look at it. Good luck . . . .
