hey Robin - from back when you had your 993 - I'm having an issue that makes no sense to me on my 993 - clutch slips in low gears but not in high gears - 140,000 miles so a worn clutch is not impossible, but normally slippage happens first in high gear - any thoughts? slave cylinder ??? though even then, why no slippage at all in 6th, but easy slippage in 1st?

    Hey Robin,

This is Savuth, I met you and your buddies the night I went to Anthony" your neighbor bday party". In doing an RSR conversion on the stock exhaust, will it pass smog? Oh and thanks to your DIY and me being on Rennlist.com like everyday helps me doing all of these DIY myself. I did the oil change, spark plugs, and replacing the valve cover gaskets. Next will be changing out the old belts.

    Hey Robin,

I purchased a set of RSR from you in '01.
I Love them; but , my car is on a diet and I am thinking about changing the entire exhaust system.
How much should I list the mufflers for? Also, should I even try to sell the headers and the cat.? I won't be needing them.
    Thanks Robin

    Kevin

Thank you for your message, I am glad to hear that you had fun reading it. As a guy with two kids and all the car activities I haven't updated the site as much as I wanted to. I don't miss the 993 at all as I get to work on them all the time every weekend.

Enjoy your 993!!! Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks

Robin: I spent about a half an hour today on my first look at your web page. Wow! This is a great read. I bought my first Porsche in November of last year and it has been really great except for a lot of $$$ being spent to try to make it look like new. I am really enjoying it though. Thanks for all the information you have posted on service. - Glenn P.S. When are you going to buy another 993? Best Regards
