Saw you have a 1987 944 S. I just got a 1987 944 (base). The engine seems having some oil leaking, and it's probably a gasket at the top. How much will it cost to replace gasket at small shop? Also how much to replace the timing belt and water pump? The car looks great with 86k.

I'm Jim's friend (as in Jim who now loves your Blue 944) he told me that you checked around for a muffler and and could only find 951 parts. Thanks for checking. If you hear about something for a '88na I'm looking for the flange to the tailpipe or even just a muffler with a decent stub, I can get that to stick.
