    Hi Tom
I heard today the Bridgestone RE 71R will start production in August, however there is no word on the 20"sizes we need. On another note I bought a number of sets of Cup 2 tires for just under 1600.00. Our friends at Tirerack are a ripoff and are in cahoots with Michelin and Porsche to rip all of us off. Porsche has signed agreements with Mahle and Bosch not to sell filters and plugs to any outside vendors. This is why they get 56.00 for a 5 dollar filter and 38.00 for a 8 dollar spark plug. I can't tell you where I got the tire deal from in fear it will jepardize my deal. This is exactly why we need competition in the market place and why I want every tire manufacture to make tires for our cars. Let's keep up the fight. Cheers Ed

    Hi Tom
Here is the response I received back from Kumho
    Hi Ed,

Thank you for reaching out to Kumho Tire with your suggestion. We've actually have been receiving numerous requests from Porsche enthusiasts lately about high inch fitments for track tires and are reviewing new product development. Our current option is to develop the new Ecsta V720 ACR Edition tire in different fitments so that non-Viper owners can enjoy them. If this option is picked up, we will have to do some extensive testing on different types of vehicles as far as performance goes so this will take some time. However, we may be able to have something developed towards the end of 2016.

Should you have any questions, please let me know.

    Best Regards,

    Chris Han
