hi Russ was hoping you can offer me some advice as I am going down the repaint route for my 964 cab.
I am getting a friend to do the job which is going to work out cheaper for me.question (1) I only want to remove one front wing the a/c side as I have rust on the scuttle to deal with. i wish to leave the other wing in place do you see any issues doing a paint this way?
    (2) I want to remove the rear spoiler for paint is it easy to remove and leave engine lid intact so they can paint engine lid on the car?

Thank you for any advice you can give me as it all helps. I still have to pull my soft top which I am not looking forward to lol

    Steve?
Iam Russ, think u might have my name mixed up.
Yeah ive got pics sumwhere, ill have a look for you.
The main hoop is mounted on the sill with a flat foot type mount that uses the bottom seat belt mount, its steel but isnt that thick, and clears my cobra seats.
You wont have a problem with either the standard seats or any replacments.
If you do a search you may find my previous pics.
    Russ.
