changing guauge faces are not required by RIV. I wanted the car to appear "Canadian" so I purchased the gauge faces from Cargraphic (FVD also makes them) and I had the dealer instal them as part of the deal. Canadian Tire will pass the car as long as you have the digital display switched over and the daytime driving lights activated, which you can do yourself if the car has sports chrono (see manual for instructions).
