I just bought a 1982 930 in Houston a few months ago. Its all stock with 52K miles! Beautiful car with the normal wear and tear of 30+ years. I saw your posts and am following your lead with engine rebuild then interior and finally paint and seals. I would like to keep the car local and it looks like you were very pleased with the work Sam Shalala did. Do you have his contact info? I'd like to drive the car over and have him take a look and give me an estimate.

Estoy pensando en un futuro no muy lejano ponerle las turbinas "variable vane" como el 997, de Kevin (UMW), y quizas el IPD plenum. Yo hago unos 10-12 eventos de "DE" y varias pistas al ano. Soy instructor de DE de PCA. Mi carro ha sacado mejores tiempos que un GT2 2010, y un GT3 RS 2007. Estos carros estan brutales, y son bastante faciles de modificar.

Hello Jose,
The blue entire 911S was rebuild about 3k miles ago or so, including the engine and trans. It does have the upgraded chain tensioners.
I am not sure if Mexico blue is the correct color, that is what I was told when I bought the car. If you have any questions you can reach me at 248-631-7660
