Hi David- My wife and I saw you and your wife in your 911 cab recently. I just got my Boxster S delivered a week ago today. I love it so far, even more than my previous 996.Can't wait to put some more miles on it. Stop by anytime if you see us outside. 3 different people looked at my 996 the day you saw it and the third person bought my 911. Thanks- Steve

Hi Steve - David K. from down the road in Kittery...we met a few months ago when my wife and I stopped by after seeing your 996 for sale. Noticed what appears to be a beautiful white Boxster in the driveway yesterday - looks great! We've been out quite a bit in our 986 and 996 lately, hope you're enjoying the new ride. From what I've seen there are now at least five Boxsters living in a short stretch of road here!

Good to hear you are well but very busy with work Pete. No doubt that the 996 forum is different. After 12 years of owning my '99 911 there aren't too many current posters that I know, and as you say, it's a rehashing of the same issues over and over again. I get your interest in english cars, I owned an Austin-Healey bug-eye sprite (1960) for about 28 years, so I understand your current interest. You certainly should pursue vintage racing especially since you are so young.(I'll be 69 in June). Just thought I'd see what you were up to these days. If you're ever in Maine I hope you would stop by. My wife and I are lucky to be on the water and always enjoy company.

Hey there Steve!! I'm well and good...but dang busy with work. After being on RL for a long time it seems the posts seem to recycle themselves albeit from new posters. I still lurk but I'm sure you can admit the 996 forum has really changed. But that not the only reason for me not being around. Besides owning a 1965 Spitfire I took the plunge and bought a '64 Spitfire race car in August. Have had it on the track once and love it. I could talking out of my a$$ here but the plan is to do some vintage racing. I'm 55 going on 56 come May and if I'm going to do this the time is now.

Hi Jay. In Kennebunkport there is a nice restaurant/bar called Hurricanes that is very nautical. Or, if $ isn't an issue, The White Barn in Kennebunkport, but you may have trouble getting a reservation, I take my wife there on our anniversaries. Just picked my computer up minutes ago, so I couldn't respond to you till now. Hope that helps you out. Steve

    Good Morning,
My parents live in Kennebunk and I am taking my in-laws up there this weekend while my parents are in Florida. I really want to hit some fun places to eat and drink this weekend. Anything you would recommend? We love Federal Jacks, but we want to spread our wings and try some other places too! Thanks - Jay
