Hi. Been lurking on this board for a while. Ordered my first Porsche - a 991 GTS - four weeks ago from Walter's in Riverside. Delivery is scheduled for early April. Saw your post about the GTS mirror mishap. Sorry to hear that. Hard to accept that an experienced Porsche dealer would screw up like that, but I guess accidents do happen.
IIRC you are buying from Walter's too. Yes? I think I read that this was your sixth car from them? Curious who you've been dealing with there. I have not had the same experience as some of the other RL members getting info out of the Dealer as to status, etc. I'm not looking for a lot, mind you, just scheduled build date, etc. You seem to have a LOT of detailed info re: both cars you are considering. What's your approach? Phone calls? Good old-fashioned dogged persistence? Maybe I'm naive but I figured that for a $130k+ purchase, I'd get a bit more attention. Thanks for any guidance. Looks like you've got a couple of great cars to choose from!
