I came across your post regarding the replacement of your high pressure fuel pump. What were the symptoms? I have an 09' 3.6 carrera and I haven't noticed any fuel delivery problems or weird noises EXCEPT...on the first hot day this year, even with the a/c off, there is a noticable hesitation coming off idle (6 speed). Enough the stall the car if your not careful - even with the sport button on?? My first thought was a clogged fuel filter, but it only happens when its hot (ambient over 80)??

Have you ever experienced this? I wonder what their diagnosis criteria is for replacement of the pump? I think I may keep the car a while.
